Samsung Galaxy C7 Spotted at Benchmark Site, Rumored Specs Include 16 MP Camera, 5.5-Inch Display, 4 GB RAM
Samsung may be introducing a new device soon as reports say that an upcoming model has recently been spotted in a benchmark site. According to Sammobile, the South Korean tech giant is believed to reveal its Galaxy C-series lineup beginning with the highly rumored Galaxy C7. There are no official details for it yet but GSM Arena noted that it has been listed already on AnTuTu and the latest one on GFXBench.
As stated in the listing, the Samsung Galaxy C7 (SM-C7000) is said to sport a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with full HD (1080p) resolution and Super AMOLED. However, the Indian import export site Zauba said that it will be a 5.7-inch display, which is a contradiction from the other listing. But since none has been confirmed yet, it's best to take it with a pinch of salt.
Softpedia also detailed that under the hood, the Galaxy C7 is allegedly packed with a 64-bit 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It is paired with an Adreno 506 graphics processing unit along with 4 GB of RAM. As for its internal memory storage, the device is said to be packed with 32 GB, although only 25 GB is allotted to users. There's no word yet but the device may be coming with a microSD card slot.
The Galaxy C7 is also said to be pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and may feature a 16-megapixel primary camera with LED flash on the back. International Business Times also said that the front will be coming with an impressive 8-megapixel camera with full HD video recording ability, perfect for those into taking selfies and doing video calls.
The device is also speculated to be not just any kind of mid-range device as it will have NFC and other sensors. There's no release or launch date yet but the Samsung Galaxy C7 is expected to debut sometime next month. Fans who are interested will have to stay tuned for it.
