Galaxy Note 4 Release Date: Set for Launch October 2014
Samsung gears up as it prepares to launch its latest phablet, which could give Apple's iPhone 6 a run for its money.
On Sept. 3, Samsung took the stage at IFA 2014 to introduce their new products, namely the Gear S (said to be a competitor to the Apple Watch), the Galaxy Note Edge, and the Galaxy Note 4.
The Galaxy Note 4 is said to look very similar to its predecessor, the Note 3, with its 5.7 inch screen, textured back, and metal band around the edges. However, the similarity ends there as the device will feature numerous upgrades and new features.

The screen is a Quad HD display, with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. It's said to be covered in 2.5D glass, which means that the glass will be slightly curved.
It will also have a special feature which has never been seen before in other gadgets— a built-in UV Sensor. This will be a good thing for those who love to be outdoors, as the device will warn users if they're getting to much sun.
The Galaxy Note 4 will have an improved fingerprint scanner, and according to PCAdvisor, all four fingerprint scanning features in the Galaxy S5—Screen Lock, Private Mode, Samsung Account Verification, and Paypal Payments—will also be in the Note 4.
The gadget comes with an S-Pen, which will have 2,048 levels of pressure sensing. It will have a 3.7MP front facing camera, and a 16 MP rear camera.
Because of a fast charging feature, the battery will reportedly take 55 minutes to charge from empty to full. It will also have an internal memory of 32 GB and a micro SD card slot that can accommodate SD cards up to 64 GB.
Available in black, white, gold, and pink, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will go on sale on Oct. 2014, and is expected to retail at around $800.
