Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Issues: Screen Freezing Fixes
While the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is considered as a top-quality device among other similar models, it still has some flaws that owners will need to find their own ways of solving, without the need to visit a Samsung store.
According to Tech Gadget Central, one of the more common bugs that buyers complain of is screen freezing, especially when the device is being unlocked.
While some users testified that the problem lasts for about 2–5 seconds, some others have complained that the freezing can go up to 10 seconds at times. According to the outlet, one of the simple ways to fix the bug is to make sure users are "not" pressing the screen while holding the devices.
Another way to fix the freezing bug is to turn off the device then press and hold the Power, Volume Up, and Home buttons all at the same time. After the process, users need to highlight and wipe the "cache partition" and turn the Galaxy Note 5 on again.
As most people already know, screen freezing may be a result of some apps. In such cases, resetting the device could be the most viable option to solve the problem.
"Design flaw" is one issue that Galaxy Note 5 owners complain about as it could break the S-Pen mechanism when users put in the stylus the other way. This issue may need a visit to a Samsung service center either for replacement or repair since there are times when the stylus is forcefully removed, thus destroying its function completely.
A serious bug that has become a huge inconvenience to many users is the fast-charging issue. When the fast-charging issue doesn't work, users can try to plug and unplug their chargers a number of times until the fast charging is seen to function properly. While this is not a favored solution for long-term device use, owners can contact the Samsung shop where the Note 5 was purchased.
