The leaked photos of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 apparently belong to Steve Hemmerstoffer. He uploaded the photos on Twitter, and the prototype revealed that it could have an iris scanner. In the photos, there are numerous sensors that fuel rumors that one of them may be an iris scanner.

Tech Radar reported that there is a good reason to believe Hemmerstoffer. His hunches on past devices including the iPad Pro and the iPhone SE have been on point. The iris scanner rumor first came up when earlier leaks of the Galaxy Note 7 found that the front panel has more lenses at the front. Furthermore, during that time, Samsung has applied for an iris scanner patent, so putting one plus one wasn't difficult.
