Galaxy Note 7 Preorders to Ship Next Week

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will arrive in stores by August 19, Friday, but those who pre-ordered will have the chance to get their device early.

T-Mobile customers who pre-ordered their Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will have the chance to get their devices earlier than everyone else. A number of people on the internet posted that they have received their phone's tracking number from T-Mobile and they are due to receive them in a couple of days.

T-Mobile Galaxy Note 7 Pre-orders
A thread on Reddit had a number of people claiming that their T-Mobile Galaxy Note 7 phones are being shipped to them. However, Inquisitr noted that not all who pre-ordered through T-Mobile got an SMS notification from the company regarding their device. It seems like those who opted to get the Onyx Black version had a better chance of getting their Note 7 earlier. Those who opted for other color variations like gold platinum, blue coral and silver titanium may not be as lucky.

Android 7.0 Nougat on Galaxy Note 7?
The exact release date of the Android 7 Nougat is unknown, but there are rumors that it may be released between August to September 2016, Neurogadget reports. While there have been speculations that the Note 7 will ship with the new operating system (OS), the device will have the software two to three months after it has been released. This means that the Galaxy Note 7 will have the Nougat by October or November.

The Android 7 Nougat is currently at the beta-testing phase and is currently being tested by the developers and public to weed out the bugs and fix them before it will be officially released.

Galaxy Note 7 Can Support New Gear VR
Galaxy Note 7 can fully support the new Gear VR. Tech Times reported that both devices have USB Type-C ports and are better matched together than the older models. Gear VR can still be supported by newer models like the Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge+, but they will have to use the micro USB attachment that comes with the Gear VR.

The Gear VR comes with improved features including a more comfortable device, improved connectivity and design. The new device can be bought for $100 and will be shipped at the same time when the Note 7 hits the stores on August 19.
