Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specs Rumors: To Feature Exynos 8895 Processor, Dual Camera Setup

In a few weeks, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in New York. With the release of both devices, tech enthusiasts anticipate that this will trickle down to the release of Galaxy Note 8 later this year. Since the Galaxy Note series has been known for its celebrated reputation, tech enthusiasts can expect Samsung to go full force in the development of the Galaxy Note 8.

According to rumors, the Galaxy Note 8 will come in two variants. One variant will come with the South Korean tech giant's next-generation Exynos 8895 system-on-chip (SoC) processor and the other will come with a Snapdragon chipset. Since Samsung is known for releasing two variants of the same device at a time, the veracity of this claim is highly likely.

The use of Exynos 8895 will reportedly pave the way for an innovative camera to make its debut in the Galaxy Note 8. Prior to the Galaxy Note 7's release, Samsung boasted of its superior camera. It can be recalled, however, that tech enthusiasts were somewhat disappointed when the device turned out to be sporting just a single sensor.

Recent reports claim that since the Galaxy Note 8 will be equipped with the Exynos 8895 SoC, the tech giant will finally be able to equip the upcoming phablet with a dual image signal processor (ISP) camera, making it one of the most innovative imaging devices in the phablet industry.

When it comes to physical features, the new phablet will be 8 mm thin. If that is true, then the Galaxy Note 8 will be the thinnest phablet ever unveiled by Samsung. Rumor also has it that color-wise, Galaxy Note 8 will retain the Blue Coral color of the Galaxy Note 7, although it will also come in Silver and Gold options.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be released in August.
