Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.1, JellyBean Update Rolling Out Next Week
The Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.1, JellyBean update will begin rolling out next week for users in Australia.
The update will be available OTA (over-the-air) for Vodafone customers living in the nation.
Users should receive a notification on Monday to download the update that will be around 290MB in size. Customers should use a Wi-Fi network to perform the update.

"Shortly after 1:00PM on Monday 26th November 2012- Samsung will begin rolling out Android 4.1.1 JellyBean to your phones," wrote the carrier.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.2, JellyBean update will be released in the near future and screenshots of the firmware surfaced on the internet earlier this week.
The software is currently undergoing testing for the Galaxy S3 and is said to be stable and almost ready.
The official roll out of JellyBean to the Galaxy S3 is expected to happen in the next few weeks and it will bring the Multi-view feature that's currently available on the Galaxy Note 2 to the S3 smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.1, JellyBean started rolling out for T-Mobile users last week.
The upgrade is now available for the SGH-T999 Galaxy S3 model and T-Mobile users can access it through Samsung KIES or OTA over-the-air.
The update brings improvements to the software including Google Now, and Project Butter that improves the frame rate and performance of the handset, making visuals and transitions much smoother.
AT&T and Verizon users are expected to receive the update in the next two weeks and Sprint users were the first to get it on the first of this month.
Samsung also recently began rolling out the Android 4.1.1 firmware update in India. However, users have been reporting that they did not receive the notification to upgrade.
