Samsung Galaxy S6 News: Smartphone Rumored to Be Released on March 2015

Fans of Samsung's Galaxy S series are looking forward to the Galaxy S6, since its predecessor, the S5, has been around for quite some time. The Galaxy S5 is touted to be one of the best phones around to run on the Android platform, and most are wondering what Samsung can do differently with the S6, since the S5 was not much of a change from the S4.

There has been plenty of speculation regarding the S6's specs and features, with some of them bordering on the ludicrous. But according to PC Advisor, it's possible that the S6 will have a SuperAMOLED screen, with a display measuring 5.5 inches and a resolution of either Quad HD (1440 x 2560) or 4K (2160 x 3840). There are also rumors of a flexible or curved display as seen on the Galaxy Round, but the website thinks that this is highly unlikely as the Galaxy S series designs lean towards a traditional aesthetic when it comes to smart phones.

The S6 is said to be a better version of the S5 as it will likely veer away from the plastic build quality of its predecessor. The device will reportedly run on the newly announced Android 5.0 Lollipop and will be powered by Qualcomm 64-bit processors.
