Samsung Galaxy S6 Release Date, Specs Rumors: Details Allegedly Leaked Online
Samsung has yet to make any official announcements about their upcoming smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S6, but details and specs about it have appeared on Chinese website CNMO on Thursday, according to reports.
The successor to the Galaxy S5 is apparently already available on the popular benchmarking app AnTuTu, which is available on Android, Phone Arena reported. CNMO posted a screenshot of the specs on AnTuTu for the Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G925F, which has been identified as the possible European version of the phone.
According to the picture and assuming the specs are legitimate, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will come with a 5.5-inch quad 1440 x 2560 HD display, a 5mp front camera, a 20mp rear camera, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory. It has a built in Android 5.0 Lollipop software and 64-bit, octa-core Exynos 7420 processor with an ARM Mali-T760 GPU.

There are also claims that the Galaxy S6 is actually part of Project Zero, which sees the launch of not just the regular and original Galaxy S6, but also the Galaxy S6 Edge.
The variant is said to be inspired by the Galaxy Note Edge and will feature a similar curved display that bends at one side of the screen. However, those from Samsung could be planning a different type of variant for Project Zero, but as the idea of a curved display is still new to the market, Samsung could simply go ahead with an Edge version for the Galaxy S6.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 was first announced in February before being released worldwide in April, so reports have it that its successor could be released around the same time next year.
However, the April release may push through only if Samsung manages to fix the performances issues happening with the 64-but Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. The bugs with the Qualcomm processor will reportedly delay the release of other Android devices, which may bump against the planned launch of the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge.
