Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in Glossy Black Color Variant; Images Revealed Online
Samsung has offered new color options to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, hoping to increase sales for both devices after the Samsung Galaxy Note 7's demise.
A few weeks ago, the South Korean tech company offered Coral Blue for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. This color was initially available for the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung also introduced a Pink Blossom color variant for the Galaxy S7. For now, this color is available only in South Korea.

A few days ago, Android Headlines reported that a Glossy Black Galaxy S7 Edge will be released early in December. This color is said to be shinier than the currently available Black Onyx.
The Black Onyx variant was released in March this year. It has a matte finish, which makes it less shiny than the Glossy Black.
For now, it is unclear whether the color option will be available in South Korea or will also be for sale in other parts of the world. The same device will have the same hardware as other Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge devices, and the only difference is the color of the outer finishing.

Recently, images of the Glossy Black colored Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has surfaced online. This new color variant is said to go up against the Jet Black colored Apple iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus. These Apple devices do have scratch-resistant features, but whether the Glossy Black Samsung device has that capability or not remains to be seen.
The Glossy Black Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge images first appeared in the popular Chinese social media site Weibo. The photos were said to be posted by a China-based official for the tech company.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Specs
The Glossy Black color option will have the same specs and features as other Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phones. These include a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixels, equivalent to a 534 ppi density.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge weighs 157 grams and has the following dimensions: 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7 mm. The smartphone wil run on Android v6.0 Marshmallow. It has a curve edged display and runs on Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 Octa.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has a 4 GB RAM, and has 32 GB or 64 GB internal memory. It supports micro SD up to 200 GB. The smart phone also has a primary camery with 12 MP.
