Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus Specs, Release Date: Leak Reveals a Promising Design Change
Promising new information has emerged about the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.
The South Korean tech firm will apparently finally fix what users have been considering a design flaw on its current-generation iterations.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 duo and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, despite their seamless all-screen front panels, were still panned by many due to the awkward placement of the fingerprint sensor next to the rear camera.

However, a patent filed by Samsung on the trademarking company Kilpin suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S9 offerings will put the fingerprint sensor on the front with a small space allotted for it.
The forehead and chin will also apparently be made much smaller than the ones on the Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 are already pretty thin.
This means that there will only be an extremely tiny space for the fingerprint sensor, which according to Wccftech, although it seems to be in a much better position, could be a source of gripe too.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will also apparently come with a bigger battery and the latest and most powerful processors including the tech giant's very own Exynos 9.
Meanwhile, industry insider Benjamin Geskin has revealed that the next-generation flagship will come with the Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 6 GB of random-access memory (RAM) and 128 GB of internal storage.
There is no clear information yet as far as the release of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. It is being said that it will be released much earlier than expected although its predecessors were launched much later than the company's usual schedule.
Either way, it is looking like the Samsung Galaxy S9 duo will see the light of day during the first quarter of next year.
