Samsung Galaxy S9 Leaks: On the Fingerprint Sensor, the Camera, and the 3.5mm Headphone Jack

Considering that the release of Apple's iPhone X is just on the horizon, most of the consumers in the smartphone market are looking toward their direction. However, Samsung seems to be determined to hold at least a tiny ounce of that attention, especially since recent reports have revealed that another leak on the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S9 indicates that there will be some good things and bad things to expect from the tech giant's latest.

According to a well known social media leaker named Ice Universe, the first thing about the Samsung Galaxy S9 that fans should know is that it will not have the rumored under the screen fingerprint sensor. This contradicts other reports from the previous weeks, but considering that Ice Universe just recently got the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and S8 designs one hundred percent right, more fans are inclined to believe the leaker.

Aside from that, Ice Universe further said that there are two more things to expect from the Samsung Galaxy S9: the redesigned rear of the smartphone and the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Despite previous reports, Ice Universe has posted a render of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and it looks like the tech giant has finally listened to the pleas of their fans to move the fingerprint sensor in a more reachable space. Also, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is expected to have the dual rear camera, which was seen on the Note 8.

Furthermore, the 3.5mm headphone jack will stay amid Google's and Apple's decision to omit. This is good news for the fans, and although it might not have come official word just yet, Samsung has always been known for delivering exactly what the fans want.

There is no release date yet for the Samsung Galaxy S9, but many believe that more information should come in the next few months and that the tech giant might make a possible unveiling during the first quarter of 2018.
