San Antonio Spurs vs Memphis Grizzlies Live Stream Free: Watch Online NBA Playoffs Western Conference Finals Game 3
San Antonio Spurs vs Memphis Grizzlies takes place in the NBA Playoffs Western Conference Finals Game 3 on Saturday night with the Grizzlies already with their backs against the wall and desperate to claw a game back in the best of seven series. The game is scheduled to tip off at 9 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Spurs have stormed to a 2-0 lead in the series and now travel on the road to Tennessee where they will meet the Grizzlies at the FedExForum in Game 3. They will be massive favorites to win the conference title now, and make their way to the championship game against either the Miami Heat or the Indiana Pacers, who are fighting it out in the Eastern Conference Finals.
However, even though most will already be penciling the Spurs in as the Western Conference champs, they will remember what happened last year. Last season they were in the exact same position, winning the first two games of the Western Conference Finals at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
But when the Spurs took to the road to Oklahoma for Game 3 everything started to fall apart and it was the Thunder rather than the Spurs who ended up going through to the Championship game.
Whether the Grizzlies have it in them to replicate the Thunder last year and win four consecutive games is uncertain. However, the Spurs will surely know that the champagne must stay on ice until they have secured their fourth win in the series and been confirmed as winners. They will be weary of a potential fight back from Memphis, especially now in front of an intimidating Tennessee arena packed with Grizzlies fans.
It is certainly not beyond the Grizzlies to turn things around, and they are indeed 5-0 at home this postseason so far. But they will know how important it is to win tonight; if they fall 3-0 down then it probably would be a bridge too far for them to come back from.
In Game 1 the Spurs wiped the floor with the Grizzlies, who looked like they were caught completely flat-footed as the series got underway. The Grizzlies, to an extent, resolved their issues for Game 2, which went into overtime, but were still unable to come out on the right side of the result – largely due to Parker posting 15 points and 18 assists.
Now the series moves to Memphis and things are far from over, especially if the Grizzlies can claw back a game tonight.
