San Francisco 49ers vs Atlanta Falcons Live Stream Free: Watch Online Monday Night Football (ESPN TV Schedule)

The San Francisco 49ers will face off against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football as the NFL 2013 regular season concludes its penultimate week. The 49ers are being put under immense pressure by the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL West Division, and they need a win today to keep themselves clear of the chasing Cardinals. The game will start at 8.40 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The Arizona Cardinals pulled off an impressive win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. That 17-10 win for the Cardinals was not good news for the 49ers, and if San Francisco lose today, they will face an effective one game playoff with the Cardinals next week for second spot.

They will want to avoid traveling to Arizona tied for second space, which means they must win tonight.

The good news is they are fantastic form at just the right time in the season. In recent weeks they have defeated the Washington Redskins 27-6, the St Louis Rams 23-13, the Seattle Seahawks 19-17, and last week they were impressive in their 33-14 on the road win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 49ers have relied heavily on rush this season, and are currently ranking 5th in rush offense in the league. They post an average of 137.1 yards in rush per game, and have used it effectively to take command of and control the pace of the game.

Frank Gore has gone an impressive 1,017 yards on 242 carries for an average gain of 4.2 yards and 8 touchdowns.

However, in the air things have been much more tough for the 49ers. They are ranking just 31st on the pass in the NFL this season, posting a lowly 179.1 yards on pass per game.

Despite their poor performances in the air, the 49ers have been strong throughout the season, and have a winning habit – a highly sought after quality as the playoffs loom.

Meanwhile, the Falcons are heading in completely the opposite direction, and they have seemingly fallen off the edge of a cliff in their form. Just a year ago they were one of the strongest teams in the NFL, but this season they have fallen apart terribly.

However, they do have some skilled players, and those big names will have to come out fighting tonight if they are to turnover the 49ers who will be desperate to gain the win.
