San Francisco 49ers vs Washington Redskins Live Stream Free: Watch Monday Night Football Online (Start Time, ESPN TV Schedule)

The San Francisco 49ers will play the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football to conclude Week 12 of the NFL 2013 regular season. This is a must-win game for the 49ers who are currently just out of the wild card slots for the postseason. The coming month of games will determine their season, and a loss here today would make their job that much harder. Today's big Monday Night Football showdown will take place from 8.40 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The Arizona Cardinals have currently leapfrogged the 49ers into a Wild Card spot in the NFL following their hugely impressive win on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. The Cardinals moved to 7-4 with a 40-11 demolition of the Colts.

That drops the 49ers down to third in the NFC West ahead of tonight's match up, but they can tie for second if they win tonight and move to 7-4.

Meanwhile, the Redskins are the basement team in the unpredictable NFC East, and have only managed three wins so far in a 3-7 season coming into this clash.

The Redskins have slid to two straight defeats in recent weeks, losing 16-24 against the Philadelphia Eagles, and 27-34 against the Minnesota Vikings. Their only win in their last four games came against the San Diego Chargers in Week 9 where they won 30-24.

The Redskins' three wins this season is a paltry return seeing as they have the 5th best ranked offense by total yards gained per game. They have averaged a total of 412.1 yards per game through the season until now, and it has been on the ground where they have had most success.

They have the number 1 ranked rush unit in the league, posting an average of 155.2 yards per game on the ground. Alfred Morris has gone 918 yards on 181 carries for an average gain of 5.1 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Jordon Reed reportedly has not practiced since last week, and the tight end is expected to miss tonight's big Monday Night Football showdown.

The 49ers have not been slack on the rush either though, and they are currently 4th ranked in the NFL on rush offense, posting 141 yards per game in that department.

Frank Gore has gone 748 yards on 175 carries for an average gain of 4.3 yards and 7 touchdowns.

The 6-4 49ers will be desperate to win today to snap their recent slump, which has seen them lose their last two games; 9-10 against the surging Carolina Panthers, and 20-23 against the New Orleans Saints. Both the Panthers and Saints are teams in amazing form right now, so the 49ers should not be too disheartened. However, the Redskins are nowhere near in the same league this season as either the Panthers or Saints, and if the 49ers come up short again tonight there will be alarm bells ringing, and their postseason hopes will be left hanging in the balance.

Monday Night Football between the San Francisco 49ers and the Washington Redskins will start at 8.40 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through free live stream by clicking here.
