San Francisco Giants vs Cincinnati Reds Live Stream MLB: Watch Online NLDS Playoffs 2012 Game 5 (1PM ET)
The San Francisco Giants have stormed back into their series against the Cincinnati Reds, coming back from 2-0 down to draw everything level at 2-2. That means a Game 5 decider on Thursday afternoon, and it is anyone's guess who will come out on top after this one. All the action can be seen from 1 p.m. ET on TBS, or alternatively fans can watch online through live stream via one of the postseason packages below.
Both teams have won a tight game, and both have won a game by a large margin, but at the end of it all we come down to Game 5 where we started - all even.
The Reds have let things slide following their Game 1 and 2 wins, in which they battered the Giants 5-2 and 9-0. Many had written off the Giants at that stage, especially with the series moving to Cincinnati for the final three games. However, the Giants have come back with wins of 2-1 and 8-3.
For this deciding Game 5 the Giants will now turn to Matt Cain, who will face off against Mat Latos for the Reds.
Latos has gone 2-0 with a 0.56 ERA in his two starts against San Francisco this season, whereas Cain has not had a good time against the Reds. He has lost both his starts this season, and finished with a 5.54 ERA in 13 innings.
However, Cain ordinarily has been someone the Giants have been able to rely on. He has been one of the more consistent starters in the MLB over the past few years, with an earned run average of 2.79 in 2012. He has also kept an ERA under 3.00 for three of the past fours seasons.
Latos will come into the clash confident after featuring for the Reds in Game 1, where he came in to relieve an injured Johnny Cueto. Latos pitched four innings and allowed just one run.
