San Francisco Giants vs. San Diego Padres: Preview, Live Stream, Start Time

The Giants will be banking on starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner to lead his team to complete the four-game winning streak.

The San Francisco Giants are off to a strong start this season winning three straight games, and they aim to carry on with their streak against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday. The said game will be taking place at the Petco Park in San Diego.

The Giants will be banking on starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner to lead his team to complete the four-game winning streak. According to MLB.com, "MadBum" had won four of his eight starts, and has allowed no more than four earned runs in a game.

The report also pointed out that during his last time-out, the 26-year old player a run on three hits in 6 2/3 innings, usually against the Toronto Blue Jays who are known to be heavy-hitters.

In another report by Scott Garbarini for FOX Sports, the Giant's success was mainly attributed to the contributions made by other starting pitchers such as Jake Peavy, Johnny Cueto and Matt Cain, as well as from second stringer Jeff Samardzija.

Garbarini's report adds that in the games started by Bumgarner, Cueto, and Samardzjia, the Giants went on a 17-7 run. Manager Bruce Bochy is simply satisfied with the performance of his noted players.

"It's good seeing he and Peavy throw like that. Matt maintained his stuff, and that pitch count. He kept his focus, maintained his stuff and made quality pitches," he said.

For their part, the Padres have also put up a superb pitching performance, and won four of their six games before losing to the Milwaukee Brewers 3-2 on Sunday. Padres manager Andy Green says the loss was more about not having enough resources equivalent to the choices they had to make.

"We had a lot of pitchers in the bullpen down. We had starters up in the 'pen at the end," Green explained. "We're using our closer in the eighth inning. Yet there we are in the ninth with a chance to tie the game, and possibly win the game."

Pitcher Colin Rea is expected to lead his team, coming off an impressive start during their win against the New York Mets last May 5.

The first of the three-game series between the Giants and Padres will be broadcasted on Tuesday at 7:10pm, through MLB.tv.
