E! Online recently caught up with Kerry Washington. When asked if she was "Team Fitz" or "Team Jake," Washington gave a rather coy answer.
"I'm team Shonda Rhimes! Whatever she writes is what I'm rooting for. And I guess I'm for Team Happy Olivia. I just want Olivia to be with the person who is right for her, and I guess we'll have to see how that unfolds," the actress told E! Online.

Whoever she ends up with, it will obviously have a great impact on the show.
Kerry Washington also spoke to E! about the fact that love is not the only thing Olivia Pope has on her plate. Washington hinted a bit of what's to coming in future episodes regarding Oliva and her work.
"Operation Remington is a big part of what the show is about right now in a similar role that Defiance played last season. So it is the big scandal and there's lots more to learn about it, if you stay tuned. And it gets crazier and crazier in the most wonderful way," the actress said.
"Scandal" airs on ABC on Thursdays.
