'Scandal' Season 4 News: Premiere Episode Recap, Spoilers Revealed for Upcoming Episodes

The season 4 premiere of "Scandal" featured Olivia Pope's return to Washington D.C. after spending a few months on an island with Jake. She discovers that Pope and Associates does not exist anymore. Abby is working for the White House, Quinn was just waiting for Olivia to come back, while Huck is now doing some IT repair work at the Data Stop.

Relationship-wise, everyone seems to have some issue with another as Abby is mad at David for letting his obsession with B613 ruin their relationship. Olivia is angry at Abby for blaming Harrison's death on her. In spite of all the drama, Olivia takes on a case.

Meanwhile, Mellie has started to unravel. Her son was murdered, her husband found out that she was raped, and she's buckling under the strain of living with the knowledge of her husband and Olivia's affair.
