Meanwhile, in the promo of "Paris is Burning," Mellie comes into form and she knows exactly what she wants – revenge. She wants to destroy Olivia completely and will go to any lengths to achieve her aim.
In fact, Mellie does not seem to be interested in the love part of her marriage to Fitz. She is more concerned about the fact that in the corridors of politics and Washington, a person's marriage has to be perceived as strong and stable. A bad marriage hurts not just the President but the First Lady's chances of a political future.
