'Scandal' Season 5 Spoilers: Olivia and Jake Seen Sharing Passionate Moment in New Teaser

Following her gut-wrenching break-up with Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) and subsequent departure from the White House in the "Scandal" winter finale, it looks like Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) has definitely moved on and may even already be hooking up with someone else. ABC just dropped the new teaser for the fifth season of its popular political thriller/drama and it shows Pope and her old flame Jake Ballard (Scott Foley) in a steamy elevator make-out session.

"I don't like waiting," Jake tells Olivia at the beginning of the clip. "Then don't," she responds. Later, Olivia is seen leaping into Jake's arms before the two share a passionate kiss.

As has been reported previously, this new trailer does seem to indicate that Olivia will be a "different woman" when the back half of Season 5 debuts. Picking up six months after the midseason finale, in which Olivia had an abortion and ended things with Fitz, Season 5B will introduce a bolder Olivia Pope.

But does this mean that there's no more hope for fans of the Olivia-Fitz relationship?

"You miss him?" Olivia is asked in the clip. "No," she answers.

Later, a secretary walks into the Oval Office and tells Fitz, "Miss Pope is on the line for you."

Are the former First Girlfriend and the U.S. President headed for a reconciliation in Season 5B? Or are Olivia and Jake getting back together?

Asked about what viewers can expect from her character's love life in Season 5, Washington told E! News, "We could be starting a wrestling match." "It could be Judo!" she teased, referring to her jump-straddle in the elevator scene.

"Scandal" returns with its much-anticipated fifth season with "It's Hard Out Here For A General" on Thursday, Feb. 11, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
