'Scorpion' Season 2 Finale Spoilers: Ex-Team Member Goes After Toby

Time flies fast and CBS is now ready to kick off the Season 2 finale of its hit action drama TV series "Scorpion," which according to reports, might conclude with a cliffhanger and a certain death.

Walter O'Brien and his team of geniuses have dealt with the worst mind-numbing cases to date. From computer hacktivity to nuclear crisis, these guys can overcome them all. However, it appears that the viewers have yet to see the Team Scorpion's mettle get tested when they are confronted with a problem that hits close to home.

The synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the finale episode titled "Toby or Not Toby," clearly hinted that the human behavior expert will find himself in a dire situation. As stated in the summary, Toby will be kidnapped by Mark Collins, an unstable genius and a former team member of the Scorpion. The person in question happens to hold a lot of grievances against the current lineup. In exchange for Toby's life, Collins will put up a list of "cunning demands." It is yet to be found out what these things would be but fans can rest assured that the team will pull everything they've got to outwit and defeat the smart enemy.

A promo video for the upcoming finale shows Mark taunting Toby who is bound in a chair. Agent Gallo, Happy, Paige, Sylvester, and Walter can be seen talking about the current situation.

For Sylvester, Mark had already become "crazier than ever," and the rest couldn't agree more to what he said.

The rest of the scenes see Collins teasing Toby that his end is already near. Everyone is hoping that Walter & Co. will be there in time to swoop their friend from utter danger, but it looks like things might not work according to their plan as the clip ends with Toby shouting in the top of his lungs.

Don't miss the Season 2 finale of "Scorpion" premiering this Monday, Apr. 25, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
