'Scream Queens' News, Cast, Spoilers: Nick Jonas Will Be Back in Episode 8
It seems that the dead aren't exactly gone when it comes to the world of TV show "Scream Queens." This week, fans were treated to something special when Ariana Grande made her appearance once again on the show. Her guesting, however, was much more of a closure for fans who witnessed the funeral of Chanel #2 and Emma Robert's scorching speech. Although it may be the last time viewers can expect to see this pop star in the series, another one is making a comeback in the next episode.
The latest promotional clip for episode 8 entitled "Mommie Dearest" shows that Boone Clemens, played by teen sensation Nick Jonas, will be returning. Viewers who watched the two-hour premiere saw how Jonas' character simply faked his death back then. Show creator Ryan Murphy has teased to Entertainment Weekly before about something like this will happen, "Nothing you think is happening is happening on the show. You think some people are dead — they're not dead." This statement could have been referring to Boone as Jonas is back, but will be in disguise, sporting long hair and a giant beard. The goal of his return is to help the Red Devil in implementing his/her plan of revenge.
Jonas further shared more about his character involvement with the killings, as he goes, "I can tell you that he is a part of the team of people involved in this master revenge plan." He further adds, "His history with it goes very, very deep." Murphy seems to be having fun with the Boone's new look as he laughs while telling, "One of my favorite things is that he's spying and traveling around the campus dressed incognito as Joaquin Phoenix."
With all the pop stars in the series, filming has become harder than usual, as Murphy reveals that setting the schedule is the most difficult part of having such big musical guests. He admits to E! News, "Sometimes it's very tricky; I will be honest with you." He further elaborates on the lengths that they have to go through,"It's a little crazy and sometimes we have to shoot on the weekends and fly people in and move things around, but I always think that it's worth it. For the most part, these roles 100 percent were made for these people, and I think you can feel it in the way they perform. There's just a lot of love in it, and it's a lot of geeky, fandom love, which is my favorite."
