'Scream Queens' Season 2 News: Fans Wondering Who the New Red Devil Will Be

Since the Red Devil Killer was finally unveiled in the season 1 finale of "Scream Queens," many fans wonder how the story will pick up once it returns for the next season. The show ended with many questions unanswered, especially with the major cliff-hanger at the end of the finale. Chanel (Emma Roberts) was on the verge of being attacked by a new Red Devil, and fans wonder who the new Red Devil might be.

According to Cross Map, Lea Michele, the actress who plays Hester, will be back in the upcoming season, and viewers wonder if she will wear the red costume again to ultimately kill Chanel. Some argue that Hester is all too happy to have gotten away with all the murder in the previous season, so some are saying that she won't be killing anymore.

Besides the identity of the brand-new killer next season, viewers also wonder whatever happened to Melanie Dorkus (Brianne Howey), who was also attacked by the Red Devil killer before. Bustle said that a follow-up on what happened to Melanie needs to be explained next season, since the last time she was seen, her whole body was all covered with burns.

The website also said that fans wanted to see Chanel No. 3/Sadie Swenson (Billie Lourd), and her alter ego, Dirty Helen. Hester insists that No. 3 has a split personality in one of the episodes, and viewers hope to see her in the upcoming season of "Scream Queens."

Since it was mentioned in earlier reports that only four or five of the original characters of "Scream Queens" season 1 will be returning, fans hope that besides Emma Roberts and Lea Michele, the other Chanels will also get to come back next year. It was also said that "Scream Queens" season 2 will have a new set other than Wallace University, and viewers are excited to see who the new characters that Ryan Murphy, the show's creator, will introduce.

No official release date was yet given for "Scream Queens" season 2 next year.
