'Scream Queens' spoilers & update: Ariana Grande will be back, Chanel #3 wears earmuffs for a reason

The American horror-comedy series "Scream Queens" has kicked off its first two episodes already and it's no surprise that it has gained so much attention. The two-hour premiere had viewers talking about the show especially since the killing spree had already started in the Kappa Kappa Tau Sorority and one of the first murdered characters is Chanel #2, played by singer Ariana Grande.

Chanel #2 was last seen being stabbed to death by the Red Devil just before she could send a tweet for help. Her lifeless body was then wrapped in a duvet by her sorority sisters who hid her body in the meat freezer. And now, fans are questioning if that was the end of Grande's part in the series and Cosmopolitan has an answer to that. According to the source, Ryan Murphy confirmed via tweet last Wednesday that Ariana will be returning to the show even though she's already dead. He reassured fans that the "Love Me Harder" diva will be back for more episodes by saying, "Everybody have faith!"

Variety also reported that Grande has already finished filming two more episodes and is expected to show up for at least three episodes. She will be returning on the Sept. 29 episode and then another one before the season ends. How will she return from the dead? That's the question that fans will have to wait to find out as there has been no word yet on how Chanel #2 will resurface. Perhaps through flashbacks, dreams, or she's just really still alive just like how Nick Jonas' character, Boone, turned out to be.

In other news, there's a certain mystery in "Scream Queens" that will be unveiled very soon—and it happens to involve Chanel #3's earmuffs. The character, played by Billie Lourd, has been seen wearing earmuffs all throughout the episode. And though there are bigger questions to be asked, fans can't help wonder why she's always donning them as if her school is in Alaska. As stated in Bustle, Murphy told THR that there's "a very specific reason why she wears them." But it will be unveiled in either the sixth or seventh episode.

The third episode of "Scream Queens" will air on Tuesday, Oct. 2 on FOX.
