'Scream' Season 3 Cast News, Air Date: Keke Palmer Tapped to Lead All-New Cast
"Scream" season 3 has found its lead in Keke Palmer.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Palmer has been tapped to play Kym, a social activist who is not afraid to speak up. Kym will find herself being one of the targets of a killer, but she will be determined to get out alive and make sure things work in her favor.
This is not the first time Palmer will be starring in a horror television series. She previously played Zayday Williams in Ryan Murphy's "Scream Queens" on FOX. However, the network axed the comedy-horror series after two seasons.

Joining Palmer are RJ Cyler, Giorgia Whigham, Jessica Sula, Giullian Yao Gioiello, Tyga and C.J. Wallace.
Cyler will play Deion Elliot, a star running back for his high school football team who is gunning for a college scholarship. However, his past will resurface in the form of a killer on the loose.
Whigham will portray a goth girl named Beth who also works as a tattoo artist. Beth knows everything about horror film tropes and uses that knowledge to escape from getting killed. Sula will play new girl Liv, who seems like the perfect student. She is an honor student and a member of the cheer squad, but there is more to her than meets the eye.
Gioiello will play Manny, an openly gay character who is usually more intelligent than anyone else. Finally, Tyga and Wallace will portray Jamal and Amir, respectively. Jamal is Deion's step-brother, while details about Amir remain unknown.
The rebooted third season of the MTV series will not be welcoming back any of the original characters from the first two cycles. The show has also replaced season 2 showrunners Michael Gans and Richard Register with Brett Matthews, who is known for his work on "Supernatural" and "The Vampire Diaries."
"Scream" season 3 will consist of only six episodes. The entire season will air as a three-night event in March 2018.
