Screen Actors Guild Awards 2015 Nominees Revealed: 'Boyhood,' 'Gone Girl,' 'Birdman' and Others

Awards season has officially started with the announcement of the Screen Actors Guild Awards nominees last Wednesday, Dec. 9. "The Fault in Our Stars" actor Ansel Elgort and Eva Longoria made the announcement at 6am. 2,200 of the guild's 165,000 members were randomly selected to serve on the film nominating committee this year. The SAGs are also considered as a good barometer for the Oscar acting awards, because the union is the largest voting block in the Academy.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards will air live on Sunday on Jan. 25 on both TNT and TBS.
