Sean Lowe, Catherine Giudici Announce Wedding Date: Vows to be Aired on TV

Former "Bachelor" contestants Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici have officially set a wedding date, and it's right around the corner. The ceremony will air live on ABC, the network that brought them together.

The date the couple chose is January 26, 2014, and Lowe told People magazine he thinks, "January is going to sneak up on us pretty quickly! Time has just flown by. It's really exciting."

"I think it's only natural to have it on TV seeing as how our relationship started. This will be a cool opportunity to share the most special day of our lives with all the people who have been invested in us along the way," Lowe added.

The two are still living apart from one another in Dallas, Texas and have abstained from intimacy until the special day. It was a decision important to Lowe, a born-again Christian, who wanted to start his relationship off on the right foot. The couple is busy working out the details of the upcoming wedding, which will include 12 bridesmaids, personalized wedding vows, and a romantic, tropical honeymoon.

"I haven't found my dress yet," Giudici revealed. "I know I want it to be form-fitting… not too princess."

The couple is using this time apart to get to know one another and build a solid relationship, one that is far away from the cameras. It's a life much different from the one they shared on the "Bachelor" set, where every word and action was captured on-camera.

"We're stronger than we've ever been," Lowe said. "And not to sound too clichéd, but I fall more in love with her every day. Watching Catherine walk down the aisle will be the best moment of my life."

Fortunately, Lowe won't have to wait too much longer for that moment and the couple will soon be living their lives together.

"Bachelorette" Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum also chose to exchange vows on TV in a special for ABC. The couple was married last year.
