Seattle Seahawks vs Kansas City Chiefs Live Stream: Watch NFL 2014 Football Online (Fox TV Start Time, Preview)
The Seattle Seahawks will play the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in one of the biggest match ups of Week 11. The defending Super Bowl champions go on the road to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri to face a strong Chiefs team. With both teams on 6-3 this one could go either way, and both teams will be desperate to claim the win and keep pace in their respective divisions. The game will start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the Fox network, or online through live stream (details below).
The Seahawks are struggling in the NFC West, and are two games back from the division topping Arizona Cardinals, who are 8-1. Seattle also have to keep their eye on the chasing San Francisco 49ers who are in third place on 5-4. If the Seahawks stumble today then their defense would suffer a massive set-back and it would even start to look like the defending champs wouldn't make the postseason.
The Kansas City Chiefs are in second place in the AFC West, behind the 7-2 Denver Broncos. The San Diego Chargers are on 5-4 at present, keeping the division a three horse race at the moment. The Chiefs also know how important a win here today is, and if they suffer a defeat the likelihood is they can kiss goodbye any chance of catching Peyton Manning and his Broncos, and they would also be looking like outsiders for a Wild Card spot.
Alex Smith and Russell Wilson have had reasonable seasons but both will feel they could have done better. Wilson is 162 of 259 for 1,841 yards and 11 touchdowns. Smith also has 11 touchdowns but is 182 of 275 for 1,869 yards.
With both teams almost identical on pass (the Seahawks average 194.4 yards in the air per game compared to the Chiefs' 195.6 yards per game), it is on rush that the Seahawks stand out. Seattle are posting an average of 170.9 yards on the ground per game, compared to the Chiefs' 135.8 yards on rush.
It is that man, Marshawn Lynch, who has done the majority of the damage for the Seahawks, and he has gone 689 yards on 153 carries for 9 touchdowns. If the Chiefs are to win this then they will have to find a way of slowing Lynch down.
