Selena Gomez Hurt? Justin Bieber 'Isn't the Guy She Fell in Love With Anymore?

Selena Gomez is reportedly heartbroken over Justin Bieber as the pair was close to reconciling prior to his recent arrest.

In January Bieber, 19, and Gomez, 21, were photographed riding segways together in Calabasas which fueled reconciliation rumors however he appears to have moved on with model Chantel Jeffries. The singer, who has been mired in controversy for several months, was arrested in Miami on Jan. 23 just weeks after he reportedly convinced Gomez to consider taking him back because he was trying to change his ways.

"The truth is, she's crushed... And it's not just that Justin chose to go back to flirting with the nearest sexy girl; it's that he totally deceived her by feeding her lines about changing his ways, only to go back on those promises at the first turn," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

Bieber was photographed spending time with Jeffries before and after his arrest which sparked romance rumors. Gomez, who split up with Bieber last year after three years of dating, is said to be annoyed with the pop star.

"Selena is sad but she's also angry. She feels like Justin played her because just when she was getting some closure and strength he convinced her to come back to him and made all kinds of promises," the insider explained.

"But it turns out they were all lies and now she's back at square one, trying to get over him all over again," the source said. "In a way she's mourning because she's realized that he just isn't the guy she fell in love with anymore."

Bieber reportedly still loves the former Disney star however he is not interested in a reconciliation at this time.

"He's at a loss for words when it comes to that situation," another source said. "He cares about Selena but he also wants to have his cake and eat it too. He's young and can have anyone he wants."
