Selena Gomez Song - 'Glee' to Sing 'Love Song' for Prom

While Selena Gomez has opted to take a break from her musical career to focus on acting, she is bound to have one last musical debut as one of her songs has been picked up by "Glee."

As a former Disney star, who once appeared on "Wizards of Waverly Place," Gomez has suggested that she is ready to take a break from music to focus on her acting career.

"I'm doing another movie called 'The Getaway' with Ethan Hawke. It's really, really exciting," she told MTV. "I go to Bulgaria and then I start filming. It's more of an action movie, which is also different. So we're doing that and then hopefully another movie, but that hasn't really been confirmed yet. Then I'll start working on my fourth album, which will be the best album I'll ever do! But I'm just kind of halting music for a bit."

For "Spring Breakers" Gomez is cast to play a more adult role than what she had done before. While appearing excited about the new opportunity, the actress also showed her enthusiasm for the director.

"He is such a brilliant director; he is so smart. He gave us direction but half the time he let us do our thing," she said. "He gave me this freedom, but he allowed me to prove myself. He's so great."

Gomez may also appear in a second, more adult film titled "Aftershock" which is considered to be a thriller.

However despite her break from music, it has been confirmed by E! News that the star's "I Love You Like a Love Song" hit has been picked up by "Glee." Lea Michele, the actress who plays Rachel on the hit musical show, is set to sing the song for the Prom episode which, according to E! was shot last week.
