'Sengoku Night Blood' Air Date, Spoilers: New Promotional Video Sheds Light on Female Lead's Origins

A new promotional video has been released for the upcoming Japanese fantasy anime series "Sengoku Night Blood." It has just shed some light on the mystery of an ordinary girl suddenly ending up in the midst of the Warring State Period of Sengoku.

The trailer opens up with what looks like an ordinary girl in a modern setting, fiddling with her phone, when a burst of light suddenly transports her to a land far away in both time and space. The trailer then goes on to introduce the different Sengoku warlords that the time-displaced female protagonist will be interacting with.

However, despite their familiar names, which has been immortalized in history books, these Sengoku warlords are nothing like their real-world counterparts. In this upcoming anime adaptation of a popular smartphone otome game, Nobunaga Oda and Hideyoshi Toyotomi are vampires, Kenshin Uesugi is a werewolf, and the rest of the Sengoku warlords are divided among their armies of these supernatural creatures.
