'Sengoku Night Blood' Episode 4 Spoilers: Unlikely Alliances to Form as War to Unify Shinga Becomes Intense

Could an alliance between vampires and werewolves eventually form on the Japanese fantasy anime series, "Sengoku Night Blood"?

The previous episode saw the werewolf army led by Shingen Takeda interacting with the time-displaced Yuzuki when they came to Hideyoshi Toyotomi's camp to offer an alliance. It has also been revealed that the supreme commander of the Takeda Army is chronically ill and may now be living on borrowed time.

Could this be the reason why he wanted to align with Toyotomi's vampire army, not for his own sake but for the sake of protecting his people? It can be recalled that Yuzuki's blood possesses the same mystical power as the missing Himemiko's, and Shingen is worried about the possibility of Nobunaga Oda getting his hands on the girl.

Hideyoshi may have refused the offer, but he may eventually rethink this especially since their enemies may also be aligning against them.

Will there ever be peace in Shinga once again? Where has the mysterious Himemiko gone to, and what does it have to do with Yuzuki's sudden transportation to this alternate world? Could the modern girl now be tasked to unify and thus restore peace to Shinga in Himemiko's absence?

The battle between the warring Gegga Tribes is just about to become intense, and unlikely alliances may soon be formed and tested. What role does a girl like Yuzuki, who does not know anything about war, have to play in the ongoing war's eventual resolution?

Moreover, will Shingen even live long enough to see this war through?

"Sengoku Night Blood" airs on Tuesdays at 11 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and at midnight JST on Sun TV. It also airs on TV Aichi at late night 2:35 a.m. JST and on BS11 at late night 3 a.m. JST.
