'Sense8' Season 2 News: More Clusters To Be Introduced

With the Netflix series "Sense8" scheduled for renewal, hints for the upcoming season have been revealed.

It was reported by AssignmentX that the producer of the series, J. Michael Straczynski, shared details on what to expect for the new season. He explained that the cluster shown in the previous season is not the only one that exists. With that, fans can expect to meet other clusters for the episodes to come.

He explained, "Some of them will be more attuned to the commonality of being in a cluster, some will say, 'I'm hiding out, don't reveal me,' the value of not being seen." However, he also added that not all Sensates will have good intentions. He said, "So not all Sense8s will be naturally good people. Some people with that ability might not be the best people. So there's a whole range of them."

Besides the cluster, the only Sensates that were seen in the previous season were Jonas, played by Naveen Andrews and Angel, played by Daryl Hannah. Both were essential to the creation of the cluster that the first season followed. It also featured Whispers, played by Terrence Mann, who is a Sensate leading a group that hunt and kill other Sensates.

The first season saw Whispers trying to take down Will, played by Brian J. Smith, and Riley, played by Tuppence Middleton. The story of "Sense8" takes place in a universe where eight individuals from different places in the world form a cluster. In that cluster, they are able to communicate with each other internally, and use each other's skills. People in this world must be reborn into a Sensate in order to be in a cluster.

The second season of "Sense8" is expected to premiere sometime next year.
