Sheree Whitfield in Financial Trouble?

Sheree Whitfield may be in hot water with the IRS.

Whitfield, the former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, has received a tax lien for failing to pay income taxes that amount to $111,226.58, according to Radar Online reports. While the federal government filed the tax lien against the reality television star last year, the reports have begun to surface about her financial issues.

However, this is not the first time Whitfield has been in trouble with the IRS. Early last year, a tax lien was filed against her in the amount of $41,752.83 for unpaid taxes in 2009 and 2010, according to Radar Online reports.

The publication also reports that Whitfield, the ex-wife of former football star Bob Whitfield, still owes her divorce lawyers over $100,000. While Sheree has remained quiet about the subject publicly, she seems to have an interest in returning to the show that made her famous.

After Atlanta blogger Funky Dineva spoke about the possibilities of Whitfield returning to the show where she spent four seasons, she fueled the rumors by retweeting messages from fans on social media.

"If my gurl @IamSheree come back omg @Andy rating would be so high for season 7," one fan wrote in a message previously retweeted by Whitfield.

In another message, a fan asked Bravo executive and personality Andy Cohen to bring Whitfield back to the show.

"@ronnieron82: I miss the fabulous @IamSheree ....please bring her back to Rhoa!!! @Andy @Bravotv," the fan wrote in a message retweeted by Whitfield.

It seems Whitfield is willing to be a part of the series again and even added to the message last month with the hashtag, "#BringShereeBack."

Nene Leakes, the only original cast member still appearing on the show, called in to the late night program to admit that she did miss working with her former cast members. This is not her first time speaking about the matter.

"I never thought in a million years that I would say this, but I kind of miss the old girls a little bit," Leakes told "Good Morning America" last year. "The deal is, we started together, and it was a sort of like a journey that we had together, so I miss them in that way."
