Family Disney Vacation Goes Wrong as Killer Alligator Attacks a Young Boy

Horror at Disney Resort Florida
The horrifying incident happened when the monster alligator attacked the little boy while he and his parents were along the beach during a movie night by the beach. Sheriff Jerry Demings said that the family were in the area for a while when the alligator attacked, emerging for about 30 centimeters from the water. The parents tried their best to get the boy out of the alligator's grasp.
Demings explained, "They were simply relaxing and wading at the water's edge. The father entered the water and tried to grab the child (but) was not successful in doing so. I'm told the mother also entered the water. So the parents diligently tried to get the child."
Traumatized Family -- Child Still Nowhere To Be Found
After the kid was dragged, the parents then alerted the pool lifeguard and called 911. Around 50 police officers and two marine rescue boats arrived at the scene to search for the lost boy. Helicopters were also brought as well as a sonar and dive team. Unfortunately, the rescue team has yet to find the child.
Demings stated, "We are not leaving until we recover the child. As a father, as a grandfather, we are going to hope for the best in these circumstances but based on my 35 years of experience, we know that we have some challenges ahead."
Where is the Monster Alligator Now?
Since the event, four alligators have been captured for inspection. While they ended up being euthanized, reports indicated that those captured were not involved in the attack. Executive Director of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Nick Wiley explained that despite not knowing if the captured alligators were the properiator, they had to kill them.
The Commission Officer of the organization also explained that they are working hard to investigate the matter. He stated that they are putting all their efforts in locating the young boy as well as capture the alligator.
Meanwhile, Vice President of Walt Disney Resort Jacquee Wahler expressed her condolences for the event that transpired. "Everyone here at the Walt Disney World Resort is devastated by this tragic accident. Our thoughts are with the family. We are helping the family and doing everything we can to assist law enforcement," Wahler said.
