Simmons and Tweed Married: Will He Remain Faithful?

Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed have tied the knot after two children and 28 years of being together, however questions circulate if it will last.

Simmons, world famous KISS frontman, and Tweed, former Playmate, had their union broadcast on Tuesday night's episode of "Family Jewels."

"No idea what I'd been scared about all this time," Simmons said to his 19-year-old daughter Sophie on waiting so long before marrying Tweed. "[It was] this stubborn guy thing... it was really stupid."

During their wedding vows, Simmon's reveals he finally realized Tweed is the one and said in his vows, "I always thought I was strong. You made me realize how arrogant, selfish and weak I was.”

"I've never said 'I love you' to anybody, but I love you, Shannon Tweed. With all my heart, for the rest of my life," he admitted.

Simmons' best man was his son, 21-year-old Nick, and Paul Stanley his band mate was the speech giving groomsmen and entertainer for the night.

The other members of KISS showed up to play a few songs as well.

Tweed said on the broadcast of the show that "It was a perfect wedding."

This statement comes after comments she made regarding her concern with getting married and fearing her husband would not stop his cheating and workaholic ways. As documented on the show, these problems almost split them up a year ago.

The couple sought marriage counseling from Dr. Ann Wexler right up until the wedding, and Tweed said she was "cautiously optimistic," and also revealed she wouldn't have any problems not getting married if she felt it wasn't right.

The newly weds sat down for an exclusive interview with Lynn Hoffman just a day later were they both seemed happy. "It felt real, and it felt right. I was Scrooge in 'A Christmas Story.' I was the last one that didn't see the magic of Christmas. They [the wedding guests] were clapping because the fairy tale is real."
