'Sister Wives' season 6 premiere live stream: Watch episode 1 online tonight on TLC - Meri and Kody's divorce

The upcoming season of "Sister Wives" is expected to begin with a two-hour premiere.

It was reported that the first episode of Sister Wives season 6 will see more drama for the Browns. The synopsis states that the season will delve deeper around the challenges that will come along with Meri and Kody's divorce.

The season is expected to begin where the previous season had left off. Season 5 ended with Meri telling Kody and Robyn that she was planning to get a divorce with Kody. With that, Kody will have the chance to legally marry Robyn, in order to increase the chances of Robyn's children to be adopted back into the family. Robyn has three children: Dayton, 15, Aurora, 12, and Breanna, 9.

The synopsis reads, "Kody and the sister wives — Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn — are at a crossroads in their relationship. While the divorce form Kody was supposed to be just a document shuffle, it has become nothing like what the family thought it would be."

Due to the abrupt change made in the family, Kody and his sister wives will "struggle to figure out how to move forward." A promotional video showed Meri telling Robyn first about the news. Robyn was surprised that Meri had told her the news first. She then told Meri that Kody should have been told of the news before her.

It was also revealed that Robyn felt uncomfortable that Meri had spoken to her instead of Kody. She said that it was not "proper" for Meri to do so.

Meanwhile, the season will also see exciting news, especially since Robyn is now expecting a baby. Kody and Robyn confirmed last June that they were expecting their second child in a statement to US Weekly. The season premiere will also see Kody spending quality time with her daughters during a beach trip.

Sister Wives season 6 is expected to air on Sept. 13 and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
