'Sister Wives' Season 7 News: Cancelled or Not?
Fans of the hit reality series "Sister Wives" will be unhappy to hear that there might not be another season in line.
After a controversial season of "Sister Wives," there have been much question about another season for the show. While fans are hoping to see the Brown family back in the small screen, there is suspicion that the seventh season of the series could be cancelled.
As reported by Radar Online, Kristyn Decker, the aunt of Christine Brown, recently explained that the events happening in the series was all fake. She revealed that the drama being presented in the show was all scripted. Decker also stated that the recent move from Utah to Los Angeles was a play to keep the ratings of the show high.
She said that the group used the laws against anti-polygamy to their advantage in order to keep viewers interested. She explained "They talked about moving to Vegas to escape Utah's anti-polygamy laws long before they did. That was their plan and they used the State coming after them for ratings."
Apparently, the Brown family were eager to advocate for the legalization of polygamy in Utah. With that, Decker expressed her regret towards her involvement in the series. She said, "After I was devastated, I cried. Christine tried to make me out to be a mean person who didn't believe in choice, either traditional or religious. You can't actually have a choice if you live under polygamy. If you chose not to do it, there is a penalty."
However, there has yet to be any news regarding the confirmation of the cancellation. Fans are hoping to see the family once again, especially since there is a new family member joining the Browns. Kody and Robyn recently gave birth to a new child, which has fans excited to see what else is to come from the Brown family.
