'Sleepy Hollow' Season 3 News, Spoilers: Abbie and Ichabod To Face A Host of New Monsters and Villains
The third season of Fox's hit supernatural drama TV series "Sleepy Hollow" may be ditching the headless horseman storyline but that doesn't mean fans won't be getting new loads of evil monsters and villains.
Citing the report from Entertainment Weekly, Design&Trend.com breaks down the three upcoming baddies that the show's beloved Abbie (Nicole Beharie) and Ichabod (Tom Mison) will face once the show returns to the small screen.
As touted by the media outlet, these entities are unlike any monsters that viewers have seen on the show. The first of them would be the infamous serial murderer Jack the Ripper. According to EW, the witnesses will take on the killer by attempting to solve one of his mysterious murder cases.
Fans will also meet "The Abyzou," which is basically a tooth fairy but not the one whom parents would love to tell their children stories about. Viewers will find the Abyzou a bit more interesting as it is said in the EW scoop that "unbeknownst to Crane," it has "plagued his mission in both his lifetimes."
The duo is also up to face the rise of the undead. These so-called Draugurs, who are actually undead British soldiers, are under the influence and command of the "demonic turncoat General Howe." Their goal would be to "finish the mission they started 240 years ago."
Aside from the new villains, Fox is also dropping a handful of new characters for Season 3. As reported earlier, Nikki Reed will be joining the series as Betsy Ross with Zach Appleman and Shannyn Sossamon as Joe Corbin and Pandora, respectively.
Design&Trend went on to report about a possible third wheel in the Abbie-Ichabod relationship. It was discovered that the new chapter will introduce Abbie's former flame and now boss, Daniel Reynolds (Lance Gross). Could this person put a further gap between the impending romantic link between Abbie and Ichabod?
Don't miss out when "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3 premieres Thursday, Oct. 1, at p.m. on Fox.
