'Sleepy Hollow' Season 4 Spoilers: New Arena For Ichabod Crane to Save The World; Is Diana Ichabod's New Witness?
Diana is among the new characters in Sleepy Hollow after Abbie's departure from the series.
It looks like it will be sink or swim for "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 once again. Many nay-sayers predict that it will be the end for the series. But, now that Ichabod Crane may have luckily found the new Witness in Diana, the show may have found a way to defy cancellation yet again.
More Ichabod Crane Stories to Tell
Loyal followers of "Sleepy Hollow" have been saying that the series won't simply fly now that Abbie Mills has left Ichabod Crane all on his own. Even with the two characters together, the series always had to fight its way from cancellation. It was no different for "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 prior to the renewal news.

Fox Entertainment President David Madden however, is more than optimistic for Ichabod Crane in the upcoming season. The series going into a reboot may be a good move to re-energize the series.
Madden added that the first seven scripts the "Sleepy Hollow" writers pitched were really fun. He thought that there is a lot more good Ichabod Crane stories to tell.
New Characters and a Big Move
Now that characters like Betsy Ross and Pandora are out of the picture along with Abbie, some new characters will have to be included. Janina Gavankar was signed on to play the new role of Diana. Gavankar will be remembered as playing Luna in True Blood but fans of "Sleepy Hollow" hope that she will make her mark on the Fox series. They also wish that Diana will have the same fun rapport that Ichabod had with Abbie.
Ichabod Crane will also take his battles of saving the world from old and new villains into a new arena. There will be a big physical move from Sleepy Hollows, New York to Washington, D.C.
The New Witness
The big question when the series returns is who the new Witness that will be partnering with Ichabod Crane will be. So far, Diana, Molly Thomas, Jake Wells and Alex Norwood are the characters who will be with Ichabod Crane in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4.
Many of the show's fans are hoping that it will be Diana who will be unmasked as the second Witness. If that is the case however, Ichabod will be facing a bit of a challenge because Diana is supposed to be not into believing the supernatural.
There is still no official announcement from Fox when "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 will premiere midseason in 2017.
