'Smurfs: The Lost Village' Release Date, News: Clips Shows Why Clumsy May Be the Most Adorable Smurf

The Smurfs can easily be generalized in three adjectives — they are small, fun-loving and, most obviously, blue. Despite the common denominator among them all, one of them could possibly be a fan-favorite given his panicky demeanor and loud presence.

Clumsy, voiced by Jack McBrayer, is — as his name fits him perfectly — extremely clumsy. He could possibly be where most of the laughter will be emanating from among the group of friends who tries to venture into the forbidden forest, and two clips show exactly how.

In the most recent clip where he, Hefty (Joe Manganiello), Brainy (Danny Pudi) and Smurfette (Demi Lovato) are traveling through a labyrinth-like cave, Clumsy couldn't help but panic. He can't keep still that he walks into the darkness even if it bothers him and goes as far as stress-eating despite warnings from Brainy.

That's not all. Showing just how playful they are, the four friends decide to indulge in what they call "Smurf boarding" down overgrown roots of trees. Hefty and Brainy do just fine, while Clumsy could have stuck the landing better if he chose a more suitable board other than a wooden barrel.

Each of the four friends is described exactly by their names, with Hefty being the sporty one, Brainy being the over-thinker, Smurfette being the only female in their village, and Clumsy getting into trouble in even the simplest things. While each is adorable, Clumsy may be one of the most memorable among the bunch, especially given the fact the audiences will mostly be children who appreciate loud humor.

In other related news, Sony Pictures Entertainment has released a new official trailer, confirming that the inhabitants of the lost village are extremely organized, independent women. With their emergence, bickering between Papa Smurf (Mandy Patinkin) and the other village's chief, SmurfWillow (Julia Roberts), can't be helped.

"Smurfs: The Lost Village" paints the town blue on April 7, 2017.
