'Sniper Elite 4' Launch Trailer and Season Pass Details: Game Comes With More Content and Campaign Missions
Developer Rebellion Developments has just released the newest trailer for "Sniper Elite 4" and a good amount of details about the Season Pass. It has also been announced that the upcoming game will introduce new campaign missions and more content.
A trailer titled "Timing is Everything" was released last Friday, letting gamers have a peak of the notable skills of the covert agent and elite marksman Karl Fairburne, the game's main protagonist.
The game takes place in Italy in 1943. In the latest trailer, gamers can catch a glimpse of Fairburne's stealth and sniping abilities as he singlehandedly takes down enemies right in their base camp.
According to Rebellion Developments' post, the Season Pass will basically provide players with "4 new missions for 1-2 players, 18 new weapons (including many new to the series), 32 themed and camouflaged rifle skins for use in all modes, and 9 detailed new characters to play as in multiplayer and co-operative modes!"
Post-launch, three new campaign missions will be introduced as well. While the developer did not provide any specific details about each campaign, they generally described the post-launch campaigns as "separate from the main storyline, which features massive, diverse new environments that eventually lead Karl out of Italy for a thrilling finale."
The three post-launch campaign missions are expected to arrive with three new weapons, eight new weapon skins, and two new characters. Added to that, Rebellion Developments also want players to watch out for three more weapon packs that include "silenced weapons, famous wartime Allied rifles, and equipment for taking on your foes at close quarters."
Getting the "Sniper Elite 4" Season Pass will give players access to content that are exclusively included in the pre-order package such as the highly anticipated "Target: Fuhrer" campaign mission.
In the said mission, players will embark on the task of infiltrating a top secret Mediterranean U-boat facility to take down one of the most infamous men in the world's history, Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
"Sniper Elite 4" will hit the shelves worldwide on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
