Snooki Pregnancy Workout Plans Revealed, Along With Preference for Second Son

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi revealed she was pregnant with her second child last week and is now speaking out about the particulars of her pregnancy, including how she plans to maintain her health and her preference of sex for her second baby.

"The first trimester, women are allowed to do everything they've been doing in the gym," Snooki posted on her blog. "So hell yea I've been getting my last rounds of flipping tires and hardcore weight training. Now that the second trimester has started, YOU CAN STILL WORK OUT … Unlike my last pregnancy I'm going to be active, workout and be happy!"

The 26-year-old is expecting her second child with fiancé Jionni LaValle, who she plans to marry in the fall. It will be a coin toss to see if the new baby makes it to the wedding or not because she is due around the same time. That tight time frame is definitely on Snooki's mind, and she knows she doesn't have a moment to waste in preparing for either event.

"Talk about suspense. I also want to be in somewhat good shape for my wedding," Snooki blogged. "Having my second child and getting married are very close to each other, so no time to be lazy! I've got a lot coming up this year and I want to look and feel my best! So bring it on pregnancy, I'm ready for you this time!"

Snooki and Jionni already have one child, a son named Lorenzo. She hopes to have another son because she "can't deal" with the "divaness" of having a daughter, Snooki told Life & Style magazine.

"We would love for Lorenzo to have a little brother because I see little girls around and I can't deal with that divaness! I'm still going to be excited if I have a girl, but we're hoping for a boy. My baby's name is definitely going to be Italian like Lorenzo – it's Italian but it's also unique," she explained.
