'Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom' Coming Soon On Android & iOS Platforms

SEGA, the publisher of "Sonic Dash" games has announced that the sequel to their highly successful 'Sonic Dash' game, "Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom," will soon be released for both Android and iOS platforms.

"Sonic Dash" has had more than 140 million downloads and is one of the in-demand games from SEGA. Developed by Hardlight studio, "Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom" is meant exclusively for mobiles and is an endless runner platform video game published by Sega.

The new game has the tried and tested gameplay elements from its prequel, Sonic Dash. The player takes the playable characters through never-ending 3D levels. The aim is to collect rings and avoid obstacles and enemies, somewhat akin to Temple Run.

Moving forward all the time, the player has to get a hang of the playable character's movements to avoid the obstacles. The playable characters will have particular skills that have to be learned quickly to avoid pitfalls. The player should aim at running as far as possible without hitting a wall or going off track. The player should not take any hits and all the while should collect as many Rings as possible.

Rings can be seen throughout the levels by playing or can be bought via micro-transactions. You can purchase further content and upgrades of the game by trading the accumulated Rings.

Do not forget to collect the Red Star Rings as these are very important. Red Star Rings can be used to buy new characters for gamers to use.

The enemies, environment & setting and the levels are based on the previous 'Sonic Dash'. The new features are the Team Play mode where the player can race using three characters and earn higher scores. The second feature is the Enerbeam mechanic. Using this at the start of an Ener-rail enables the player to use the rail at high speed. And there are special unlockable powers for some characters.

There is also a magical element added to the game in the form of magical beings called "Sprites."

SEGA has not announced the release date yet but has promised fabulous content, action, and thrilling challenges.
