Prebooking the two new Sony smartphones will give consumers a chance to receive freebies. The first 200 buyers can choose to have either a Sony SmartBand SWR-10 or a Sony Portable Wireless speaker SRS-BTV5, Stuff reports.

The subsequent customers will only be given either of the two freebies, subject to availability. 11Street is hosting a contest on Instagram and will award a brand-new Xperia C5 Ultra to the grand prize winner.

The Sony Xperia M5 boasts of a 5-inch full-HD display with a 1920x1080p resolution. It runs on a MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor and Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The device comes with 16 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM. It also has a 21.5-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front camera. The Xperia M5, which comes with a 2,600 mAh battery, costs around $401.

Meanwhile, the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra has a 6-inch full-HD touchscreen display with 1920x1080p resolution. It runs on a MEdiaTek MT6752 processor and Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The new smartphone, which has 13-megapixel rear and front cameras, is priced at $370.

Most smartphones are measured by their power and processor, but Sony sets itself apart from other phone makers by giving more importance on the quality of the phone's camera. Sony is targeting amateur photographers with the Xperia M5 and Xperia C5 Ultra, Information Week (IW) says.

"We understand that camera capabilities are important to smartphone users," IW quotes Sony's Value Category Business Management vice president Tony McNulty. "So we ensured that Sony's existing camera brilliance was once again surpassed in the new Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5 without compromising on other features across design and performance."
