Sony Xperia XZs and Xperia XA1 Specs, Price News: Sony Unveils New Smartphones at MWC Set for April Release

Every year, technology enthusiasts look forward to the Mobile World Congress because of the amount of new devices that are either unveiled or announced. This year is no different, especially with Sony's revelation of four new smartphones.

Sony has announced new additions to its Xperia line: the XZs, XZs Premium, XA1 and XA1 Ultra. The technology giant has only announced the price and release date of the XZs and XA1, although the XZs Premium and XA1 Ultra's are expected soon enough. In the United States, the Xperia XZs will be released on April 5, while the XA1 will be released not long after that--on April 26. They are priced $699 and $299, respectively.

According to Phone Arena, it is likely that all four smartphones will be released unlocked, without any partnerships with carriers. This is because of Sony's recent pattern when it comes to their newer Xperia offerings.
