Sony Xperia Z4 Release Date News: Sony Plans to Launch Device in 2015
Sony will reportedly release Xperia Z4 devices early next year.
The 12.9 inches and 8.6 millimeters thick tablet will reportedly cost $1,000. Xperia Z4 tablet's specs reportedly comes with 4K or 3840 x 2400 resolution display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 805 or 810 chipset, and an 8-megapixel camera.
Rumors also surfaced the Sony is done preparing the tablet's components for mass production. Xperia Z4 will reportedly be manufactured by Pegatron Technology, which is responsible for Apple's iPad and Microsoft's Surface tablets.
Aside from the tablet, reports claimed that Sony will also release Xperia Z4 Compact. The smartphone will still have a 4.7-inch screen with a resolution from 720p to 1080p. The processor will be a Snapdragon 810, and there will be 3GB of RAM.
Not only that, a sony Xperia Z4 phablet is reportedly in the works. The 5.5 inches device will have a rectangular design with a Quad HD (2560x1440) screen. Possible features added are LTE Cat 6 and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity, and an upgraded camera with a 20.7Mp curved Exmor RS CMOS sensor.
The three Xperia Z4 models will most probably come with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The rumored released date is at the Mobile World Congress in March 2-5, 2015. Sony will reportedly unveil the Sony Xperia Z4 in the said high-profile event. As early as April, customers will be able to purchase the device.
Another release date rumor came from the infamous Sony hack. Emails were reportedly leaked that new Xperia 4 gadgets will be featured in the upcoming "James Bond" film. Director Sam Mendes and actor Daniel Craig reportedly shared ideas for the creation of the new device. The actor will reportedly earn $5 million after posing with the Sony Xperia Z4.
