The commercial begins with Seinfeld looking at the Acura NSX and saying, "I want it, I would love the first one." When Seinfeld is told that another man has already claimed the first one, the comedian proceeds to go through a number of charades in order to get his first place spot.
Seinfeld's charades brings back a segment from a popular episode of "Seinfeld." One the first characters to churn up is Larry Thomas, as the "Soup Nazi," who Seinfeld tries to wager off. The episode with the "Soup Nazi" originally aired November 2, 1995, and is considered to be a Seinfeld favorite.
Other wagers include the last living munchkin, a dancing holographic monkey, aliens, and of course some Seinfeld comedy. At the end, the man is just about to give Seinfeld the first spot when Jay Leno swoops in on a jet pack and offers it to the man. When the man accepts both take off leaving Seinfeld sitting in a diner with aliens.
Super Bowl ads are already being ranked by many different sites. NBC Sports has ranked Volkswagen's "The Barkside" number one so far however it suggests that the new Acura commercial could steal the spot. Doritos is ranked second and Chevy third, with the Matthew Broderick's return to Ferris Bueller coming in at a distant sixth place.
