Spain vs. France – Watch Euro 2012 Online Live Stream

Euro 2012 continues Saturday with Spain vs. France in what is expected to be a fierce encounter. France are the last side to have scored a goal against Spain in the knock out stages of a major tournament – a statistic that runs all the way back to World Cup 2006 when France beat Spain 3-1. Spain vs. France can be watched live on ESPN2 or fans can watch online through live stream on ESPN3 (link below).

Spain will be confident having topped their group, scoring the most goals and conceding just one in the process. They have been criticized for not being as fluent at times as we're used to seeing them, but no one should be in doubt that the World and European champions will be hugely difficult for any team to defeat.

On the other hand, France who started the tournament being unbeaten in more than 20 consecutive matches, have seemingly hit the self destruct button at the wrong time. In World Cup 2010 their squad was plagued with dissension and became a huge embarrassment to their nation. However, since then they have developed into a strong unit; that is until now. Having drawn against England in their opening game, they confidently beat Ukraine 2-0 to place themselves at the top of Group D. However, they fell apart in their final group game against Sweden and were comprehensively beaten 2-0, resigning them to second place in Group D and setting up a quarter final clash with the team everyone wanted to avoid.

Following their weak performance against Sweden there have been rumors of arguments and dissension in the French ranks once again, and it will be interesting to see how they turn out against Spain. Either their dissension will get the better of them and they will fall apart against the best team in the world, which could lead to severe punishment on the pitch, or they could rally themselves with a back-against-the-wall performance and cause an upset.

Spain vs. France will kick off at 2.45 p.m. EST and can be watched live on TV on ESPN2 or alternatively can be watched online through live streaming on ESPN3 by clicking HERE.
